Safe AI for kids.

GenieOne is built kid-safe by default. Every reply runs through a Singapore-context safety filter, the tutor refuses to drift off-syllabus and parents can read the full chat history. Built by Geniebook, the Singapore edtech behind 300,000+ students since 2017. No data is sold to third parties.

  1. Content filter on every reply

Each tutor reply is filtered against a list of unsafe categories (adult, violent, harmful instructions) before it reaches the student. Blocked replies trigger a safe fallback message.

  2. On-syllabus only

The tutor is grounded in the Singapore MOE syllabus for the student's level. It refuses to drift into off-syllabus topics. A P4 student asking a JC physics question gets redirected back to P4-appropriate content.

  3. Parent-visible chat history

Once a free account is set up, every question and reply is stored and visible to the parent. Nothing the child types is hidden from the parent account.

Frequently asked questions

Is GenieOne safe for primary school children?
Yes. Every reply runs through a kid-safety filter that blocks adult content, unsafe instructions and off-syllabus tangents. The tutor is built for Singapore students and refuses to wander into topics outside the MOE syllabus for the student's level.
What does kid-safe mean in practice?
Three layers. One, every reply is filtered against an unsafe-content list before it reaches the student. Two, the tutor refuses to answer questions outside the MOE syllabus for the student's level. Three, parents can read the full chat history so nothing is hidden.
Can my child see anything inappropriate?
The safety filter blocks adult, violent and unsafe content before it appears. The tutor will not produce instructions for harmful behaviour. If a child types something concerning, the tutor responds with care and suggests speaking to a trusted adult.
Will GenieOne help my child cheat on homework?
GenieOne is designed to teach, not to produce copy-pasteable answers. Its approach is to ask for the student's working, identify where the reasoning breaks, and explain the next step. The goal is for the student to understand the method well enough to handle the next question on their own.
Do you sell my child's data?
No. Student chat data is used to improve the tutor inside Geniebook. It is not sold to third parties. Parents can request deletion of a child's data at any time.
Can I see what my child has asked?
Yes. The chat history is visible inside the parent account once a free account is created. Every question and reply is stored and viewable.
Is there an age limit?
GenieOne is built for students from Primary 1 (around age 7) through Junior College 2 (around age 18). Younger children can use it with parent supervision. The tutor adjusts language and difficulty to the level the parent or student selects.
Who built and runs GenieOne?
Geniebook, a Singapore edtech founded in 2017. Geniebook serves 300,000+ students and operates Geniebook Core (online classes), CAMPUS (seven Singapore mall centres), AfterSkool, Best Physics Tuition Centre and GenieOne (the AI tutor product).
